Description:

In the drama Can You Kiss Me First, Ueno and Kanda appear to be complete opposites. Ueno is a cool, serious member of the accounting department, while Kanda is the bright, sociable ace of the sales department. Despite their contrasting personalities at work, the two share a secret connection. They are actually close friends, with Kanda spending a significant amount of time at Ueno’s house. However, their dynamic shifts when Kanda reveals he is gay. Ueno is left with mixed feelings as Kanda continues to act unguardedly around him. Meanwhile, Kanda harbors deep anxieties of his own, troubled by Ueno’s past declaration that nothing will ever happen between them. As they continue to spend time together as friends, their presence in each other's lives gradually grows much stronger. This engaging adaptation of the manga series by Yamayade beautifully captures the tension of unspoken feelings and changing relationships.
